PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce deviation of active species to be released into the air in a humidifier in which an active species generating device and an active species generating means for generating active species are mounted.SOLUTION: The active species generating device includes a body case 1 with an air inlet 4 and an air outlet 5, and a blower means 2 and the active species generating means 3 which are disposed inside the body case 1. The active species generating means 3 is formed by an active species generating part 11, a first communication path 12 making the active species generating part 11 communicate with outside of the body case 1, and a second communication path 13 communicating with air passages among the active species generating part 11, the air inlet 4 of the body case 1 and an intake 9 of the blower means 2.
