PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging system capable of optimizing the amount of light balance of a visible light image and invisible light image, while enhancing the light utilization efficiency.SOLUTION: An imaging system 1 includes a first illuminating device 2B for illuminating an imaging object T with visible light, a second illuminating device 2A for illuminating the imaging object T with invisible light, and an image sensor 10B for receiving the light from the imaging object T by the visible light of the first illuminating device 2B, and the light from the imaging object T by the light of the second illuminating device 2A, over a predetermined shutter period, and outputting a light-reception signal depending on the respective amount of received light. The imaging system 1 outputs a visible light image generated based on the amount of received light by the visible light of the first illuminating device 2B, in combination with an invisible light image based on the amount of received light by invisible light of the second illuminating device 2A, and is constituted to include lighting control means 23 for lighting the second illuminating device 2A with a light output dependent on a shutter period, in synchronism with the shutter period.
