PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide flaky glass capable of realizing cosmetics with a fine and smooth texture, excellent transparency and adhesion to the skin, and a natural finish with low gloss, that is, a so-called natural skin color, and in addition, capable of reducing the risk of expansion of containers of the cosmetics.SOLUTION: The flaky glass comprise a flaky glass substrate and coating film covering surfaces of the flaky glass substrate. The flaky glass substrate has an average thickness of 0.1-1.0 μm and an average particle size of 1-100 μm. The coating film is formed from acrylic silicone, and the content ratio of the coating film is 0.05-2.50 mass% when measured as the loss on ignition at 625±20°C.
