An oral composition is provided in the present invention. The oral composition contains scutellaria root and platycodon root. It is preferred that the oral composition further contains rehmannia root. In the oral composition, when an amount of the scutellaria root is defined as XA [mass%] and an amount of the platycodon root is defined as XB [mass%], itis preferred that the following relation is satisfied: 0.00005XB/XA20000.本發明之口腔用組成物之特徵在於含有黃芩及桔梗。口腔用組成物較佳為進一步含有地黃。將口腔用組成物中之前述黃芩之含有率設為XA[質量%]、將口腔用組成物中之前述桔梗之含有率設為XB[質量%]時，較佳為滿足0.00005≦XB/XA≦20000之關係。
