PROTÉINE RECOMBINANTE ET SES FRAGMENTS, PROCÉDÉ D'OBTENTION DE CETTE PROTÉINE RECOMBINANTE, GÈNE SYNTHÉTIQUE ET UTILISATION DE LA SCULPTINE OU DE CETTE PROTÉINE RECOMBINANTE POUR PRÉPARER UN MÉDICAMENT OU UNE COMPOSITION PHARMACEUTIQUE POUR LA PRÉVENTION ET/OU LE TRAITEMENT DE MALADIES THROMBO-EMBOLIQUES OU COMME INHIBITEUR DIRECT ET SPÉCIFIQUE DE LA THROMBINE
This invention falls within the fields of biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics, pharmacy and medicinal chemistry, being related to biochemical and metabolic processes. More specifically, the present invention provides a novel class of proteins that inhibit thrombin, particularly direct inhibitors of thrombin modified from sculptin, identified in the transcriptomics analysis of the salivary glands of ticks, as well as fragments and recombinant protein thereof, which can be used as anticoagulant agents and for the prophylaxis and/or treatment of thromboembolic diseases.
