PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote operation device capable of preventing reduction of precision of detecting presence of a foot operating a pedal to be operated among a plurality of pedals.SOLUTION: A remote operation device 100 includes: an operation handle 1 for remotely operating a medical device； an operation pedal part 2 including a plurality of pedals 20 operated by being pushed downward by a foot for performing a function related to the medical device, and a sensor 26 for detecting presence of the foot operating the pedal 20； and a control part 61 that receives detection information from the sensor 26.
