Front and rear flaps 74 and 75 and side flaps where the absorbent body 40 is not present are formed on the outside in the lengthwise direction Y and on the outside in the crosswise direction X of the absorbent body. A side flap elastic body 76 is attached to a crotch side flap 73. A hook element 81 is attached to a rear waist region 12 by way of a support sheet 83. The support sheet 83 comprises a fixing part 84 which is fixed to a second side flap 72 and an extension part 85 which extends outwards from the fixing part 84 in the crosswise direction X of a side edge 16.
