PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root vegetable harvester capable of recovering stems/leaves cut from the crops, with the recovering section for the stems/leaves not leading to the machine bodys large size and not constituting any hindrance to neither the harvesters travel nor harvesting work.SOLUTION: The root vegetable harvester includes: a pulling-out-and-conveying apparatus 24 to harvest crops from a farm and convey them a stems/leaves-cutting apparatus 76 to cut off stems/leaves a stems/leaves-conveying apparatus 80 to succeed the stems/leaves cut off the crops and convey them to a rearward place of the machine body a waste leaves-recovering frame 122 in a turnable way below the terminal end of conveyance of the stems/leaves-conveying apparatus 80 an extended frame 125 on one side of the waste leaves-recovering frame 122 and waste leaves-receiving members 128 to receive waste leaves at the waste leaves-recovering frame 122 and the extended frame 125 respectively wherein the extended frame 125 is constructed in such a way as to be turnable from a position above the waste leaves-recovering frame 122 and being nearly horizontal to a position representing such a posture on the side set apart from the waste leaves-recovering frame 122 that the end side of the extended frame 125 is risingly inclined onto one side of the machine body situated above the base side.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】作物から切除した茎葉部を回収できると共に、茎葉部の回収部が機体を大型化させず、且つ走行や収穫作業を妨げない根菜類収穫機を提供する。【解決手段】作物を圃場から収穫搬送する引抜搬送装置24を設け、茎葉部を切断する茎葉切断装置76を設け、作物の茎葉部を引き継ぎ機体後方まで搬送する茎葉搬送装置80を設け、茎葉搬送装置80の搬送終端部下方に排葉回収フレーム122を回動自在に設け、排葉回収フレーム122の一方側に延長フレーム125を設け、排葉回収フレーム122と延長フレーム125に排葉を受ける排葉受け部材128を設け、延長フレーム125を排葉回収フレーム122の上方で略水平となる位置から排葉回収フレーム122から離間した側で延長フレーム125の端部側が基部側よりも上方に位置する機体一方側に上昇傾斜した姿勢となる位置まで回動可能に構成する。【選択図】 図13
