PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide artificial soil particles having high durability and easy handling while maintaining basic performance as soil.SOLUTION: The artificial soil particles comprise fibers 10, filler 20, binder 30, and a nonionic surfactant 40. One of (a) and (b) is hydrophilic and the other non-hydrophilic where (a) is the fibers 10 and/or the filler 20, and (b) is the binder 30. The nonionic surfactant 40 is 0.05 to 0.5 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the total amount of the fiber 10 and the filler 20.
