PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic sphygmomanometer which permits blood pressure to be instantly measured by passing the upper arm through a cuff portion and has the lightweight and compact cuff portion avoidable of crashing or folding a cushion material when it is not put to use.SOLUTION: The electronic sphygmomanometer 1 includes the cuff portion 2 as a cylindrical body which can pass through the upper arm and can be folded, and a sphygmomanometer body 10. The cuff portion 2 and the sphygmomanometer body 10 are formed separately. The cuff portion 2 can pressurize the upper arm T by supplying air, and has a blood blocking airbag 14 having a plurality of folding portions 222 to fold the bag, a butting cloth portion 17 made of a cylindrical body covering the inside of the blood blocking airbag 14 and butting against the side of the upper arm T which is to be measured, an outside member 16 joined to the outside of the butting cloth portion 17 so as to store the blood blocking airbag 14 and having a plurality of folding portions 16M to fold it.
