PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical image measuring instrument for preventing a failure of a light source without using an isolator, and optically enhancing an image quality.
SOLUTION: A fiber coupler 162 splits low-coherence light LO into signal light LS and reference light LR. A signal light path includes an optical fiber 165 leading the signal light LS to a subjects eye E and leading the signal light LS from the subjects eye E to the fiber coupler 162, and an optical fiber 166 leading this signal light LS to a fiber coupler 167. A reference light path includes an optical fiber 163 leading the reference light LR, a corner cube 173 reflecting the reference light LR twice, an optical fiber 164 leading the reference light LR to the fiber coupler 167, and a dispersion compensation member 172 and a polarization correction member 174 for enhancing the image quality. The fiber coupler 167 generates interference light LC of the signal light LS and the reference light LR. A tomographic image is formed on the basis of a detection result of the interference light LC.
