PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable wearing article which has improved the conventional wearing article and has a tape tab with high gas permeability.SOLUTION: A diaper 1 includes: a chassis 10 and a tape tab 70 that is fitted to a non-skin opposite surface of the chassis 10 and partly includes heat-fusible fiber. The tape tab 70 is constituted of a first area, a second area, and a third area extending in a vertical direction Y respectively. In the first area, a hook element 74 of a mechanical fastener is provided on a surface facing the second area, and dot-like openings 76, 77 and temporary fixing parts 78, 79 positioned around the openings 76, 77 are provided outside in the vertical direction Y. The opening 76 penetrates the first and the second areas in its thickness direction. The temporary fixing part 78 welds the thermoplastic fiber around the opening 76 and mutually temporarily fixes the areas. The opening 77 penetrates the first to the third areas in the thickness direction.
