PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable wearing article having a tape tab allowing a user to fix the disposable wearing article after wearing by a simple motion.SOLUTION: A disposable diaper 1 includes: a chassis 10 a liquid absorbing structure 40 disposed on a skin-facing surface of the chassis 10 and a tape tab 70 attached to a non-skin-facing surface of the chassis 10. The tape tab 70 is attached to a back waist sheet 22, and is composed of a first area, second area and third area which are laminated on one another and which extend in the vertical direction Y. The first area has a hook element 74 provided on a surface facing the second area, but the hook element 74 is not substantially connected to the second area.
