PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent composition with little irritation that is excellent in cleansing effect and feeling such as conditioning effect (smooth finishing and feeling of moisture retention), and is stably blended with an oily component as an emollient component.
SOLUTION: The detergent composition includes the following components (A)-(D): (A) 1-10 mass% of an organic amine salt of N-acylamino acid (B) 1-5 mass% of an imidazoline-based ampholytic surfactant (C) a liquid or paste oily component at 25°C and (D) a nonionic surfactant which is a liquid at 25°C and has an IOB value of 0.7 or higher and lower than 0.9 in a blending mass ratio (C)/(D) of the components (C) to (D) of 1/10-3/2.
