PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray image diagnostic system including X-ray plane detectors the X-ray detection surfaces of which are different in size from each other, in which a photographing condition can be changed in accordance with the X-ray plane detector to be used when one of the X-ray plane detectors becomes out of order and therefore X-ray photographing is performed using another X-ray plane detector.SOLUTION: The X-ray image diagnostic system includes: an X-ray generator-shifting mechanism part for shifting the position of an X-ray generator an X-ray plane detector-shifting mechanism part for shifting the position of the X-ray plane detector an X-ray generator position-controlling part controlling the position of the X-ray generator by using the X-ray generator-shifting mechanism part and an X-ray plane detector-setting part setting the size of the X-ray detection surface of the X-ray plane detector used for photographing a detection-target body.
