The present invention relates to formulations containing a combination of extracts from Curcuma longa, Punica granatum and Zingiber officinalis, useful for the treatment and prevention of mucosal lesions, in particular those caused by Herpes or Behcet's syndrome. The formulations are especially effective in reducing the incidence of mucosal lesions of the mouth, throat and genital area.
