Method for setting a dose of a liquid drug for administration, comprising the steps of: a) providing a target dose amount TD, b) operating a manually operated dose setting means, wherein operating the manually operated dose setting means sets an administration dose amount AD, and c) indicating the relation between the administration dose amount AD and the target dose amount TD.
