PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device for an endoscope which can relieve thermal stress generated by difference in heat expansion between an airtight case and a sheath member even when autoclave treatment is performed.
SOLUTION: In a camera head 3, the sheath member 60 for the case is attached to the airtight case 40, being fixed between a fixing nut 63 and a fixing member 31. During autoclave sterilization, the sheath member 60 made of resin for the case expands between the fixing nut 63 and the fixing member 31 to a larger degree than the airtight case 40 made of metal. In this case, the sheath member 60 for the case can expand toward its end by a range L of a gap between a protrusion 37 of the fixing member 31 and a first sheath member body 65 for the case of a first sheath member 61 for the case. Also, an elastic member 69 contracts between a sheath-member pressing part 36 of the fixing member 31 and a pressed part 66 of the sheath member of a first sheath member 61 for the case, and relieves the thermal stress which is generated by the difference in heat expansion between the airtight case 40 and the sheath member 60 for the case.
