SOLUTION: A part 144 for detecting an arch of a foot detects parameters showing a state of an arch of a foot of a sole of the subject person from a contact region 69 making a contact with the sole of the subject person in a pressure distribution sensor 11. In accordance with the parameters, a part 145 for detecting a tilting state of an ankle detects a tilting state of an ankle joint of the subject person and a part 143 for detecting a bent state of a sole detects a bent state of the sole of the subject person. A classification part 146 classifies a foot type of the subject person into a flat type, a pronated foot type, an outward loaded foot type, a supinated foot type, a hollow foot type, a plantar arch deformed foot type and a normal foot type which are indexes for the physical capabilities in terms of walking based ON a detected result by the part 145 and the part 143.
