PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accelerator in which energy can be varied and beams can be continuously output and which has an excellent beam utilization efficiency, while a conventional cyclotron is difficult to vary energy of take-out beams and a conventional synchrotron is difficult to continuously output beams.SOLUTION: An accelerator accelerating ion beams by a high frequency voltage, the ion beams circulating in an isochronous magnetic field, includes: a beam separation device for separating ion beams having been accelerated from a beam orbit at multiple positions in a radial direction of the accelerator and a beam emission path for taking out the ion beams to the outside at multiple positions in a radial direction of the accelerator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT【課題】エネルギー可変かつ連続的にビームが出力可能かつビームの利用効率の高い加速器を提供する。 従来のサイクロトロンでは取り出しビームのエネルギー変更は困難であり、シンクロトロンでは連続的にビームを出力することが難しかった。【解決手段】等時性磁場中を周回するイオンビームを高周波電圧で加速する加速器において、加速器の半径方向の複数の位置で、前記加速されたイオンビームをビーム周回軌道から離脱させるビーム離脱装置と、加速器の半径方向の複数の位置で、前記イオンビームを外部に取り出すビーム出射経路を備えることを特徴とする加速器。【選択図】 図2
