PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron ray sterilizer which efficiently sterilizes a container with a few, i.e. one or two electron ray irradiation devices, sterilizes the whole face of the container with no shaded part of the irradiation on the container, does not have a transport part for an unsterilized container and a transport part for a sterilized container in the same space and which does not generate an environmental problem caused by the leak of H2O2 gas, etc. at a work site.
SOLUTION: This electron ray sterilizer is provided with container holders 15, 16 which hold a container 1, a rotary device 10 which comprises discs 11, 12 for rotating and transporting the container held upside down and is provided with the holders on top and bottom stages, a reversing device which vertically reverses the container by a reversing mechanism 30 after the container held by one side is received to be delivered to the other side and an electron ray irradiation device 40 which irradiates the container held by the holders 15, 16 with electron rays. A container holing part is so structured that the holding positions of the holders 15, 16 do not overlap and the container is discharged after it goes through the irradiation device twice.
