Disclosed is a scraping device (14) for removing objects such as manure from a floor surface (1c) of a rotary milking platform (1). The disclosure notes that the scraping device (14) reduces vibration and noise associated with contacting cleaning devices on uneven surfaces. The scraping device (14) comprises a scraper (18) and a suspension device. The suspension device comprises a spring member (22) adapted to hold the scraper (18) in a first position. The suspension device is adapted to support the scraper (18) in the first position adjacent to the floor surface (1c). The scraper (18) moves from the first position to a second position when an object such as manure on the floor surface (1c) contacts the scraper (18). In the second position, the scraper (18) is pressed against the floor surface (1c) with a force. The suspension device further comprises first (19) and second (20) elements with a movable connection including two parallel arms (21) between the first (19) and second (20) elements which define a path of movement for the scraper (18).
