PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood component collection cassette capable of trapping a foreign substance such as a blood clot from a blood component returned to a blood donor, and a method for producing the same. A sheet-shaped filter member (60) is arranged on a flow channel (42) in a cassette body (40) of a blood component collection cassette (28). A first tube 66 and a second tube 68 are arranged in the cassette body 40. The filter member 60 divides the internal space 51 of the filter housing portion 54a into a first space 51a on the first tube 66 side and a second space 51b on the second tube 68 side.
