The present invention relates to novel compounds, which presents a peptide structure and an unexpected antibacterial effect even against certain multiresistant bacteria. The compounds may becyclic peptides, sometimes depsipeptides, ornon-ring-closed peptides, asdefined by Formula (I). Further, the invention relates to the medical use of the herein claimed compounds, a method for the production of the compounds as well as a method of treatment including the compounds. In addition, the invention relates to a pharmaceutical preparation comprising one or more of the herein described and claimed compounds combined with suitable carrier(s) and/or adjuvant(s). Finally, the invention is the use of one or more of the claimed compounds in a method for decolonization of a surface of Gram-positive and/or Gram-negative bacteria.La présente invention concerne de nouveaux composés, qui présentent une structure peptidique et un effet antibactérien inattendu même contre certaines bactéries multirésistantes. Les composés peuvent être des peptides bicycliques, parfois des depsipeptides, ou des peptides non cyclisés, tels que définis par la formule (I). En outre, l'invention concerne l'utilisation médicale des composés de l'invention, un procédé de production des composés ainsi qu'une méthode de traitement comprenant les composés. De plus, l'invention concerne une préparation pharmaceutique comprenant au moins l'un des composés décrits et revendiqués dans la description en association avec au moins un excipient et/ou un adjuvant approprié.
