PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve visual recognition property in a high density image in a biological light measuring instrument for performing high density measurement.SOLUTION: The biological light measuring instrument includes: light sources 10A, 10B a probe 2 having a plurality of probe modules 2A, 2B, where light emitting means for emitting the light from the light sources to a plurality of positions of a subject and light receiving means for detecting passage light from the subject at a plurality of positions are alternately arranged light detecting parts 20A, 20B for outputting signals corresponding to the passage light a processing part 31 for generating the image of the subject by using the signals from the light detecting parts and a display part 34. The light sources and the light detecting parts include a plurality of systems corresponding to the respective probe modules. The processing part 31 generates a high density image 61 of the subject by using the whole signals obtained from the plurality of systems, and normal density images 60, 62 by using only the signals obtained from each system.
