The present invention relates to a method for calculating a dwelling depression index of seniors and a device thereof. The method for calculating a dwelling depression index of seniors comprises the steps of: generating a plurality of ego-projected images and a questionnaire for diagnosing dwelling depression inquiring a depression feeling corresponding to each of the plurality of ego-projected images； receiving a user response which is transmitted from a user terminal by allowing the user terminal to respond to the questionnaire for diagnosing depression after providing the questionnaire for diagnosing depression to the user terminal； calculating a user response total by converting and adding up the depression feeling corresponding to each of the ego-projected images included in the user response in a score method； and calculating and notifying a dwelling depression index of seniors in accordance with an equation which is Dwelling depression index = User response total - (age - 65) * age weighting.본 발명은 고령자의 주거 우울 지수 산출 방법 및 장치에 관한 것으로, 이는 다수의 자아 투사 이미지와, 상기 자아 투사 이미지 각각에 대응되는 우울감을 질의하는 주거 우울증 진단용 설문지를 생성하는 단계； 사용자 단말에 상기 우울증 진단용 설문지를 제공한 후, 상기 사용자 단말이 이에 응답하여 전송하는 사용자 답변을 수신하는 단계； 상기 사용자 답변에 포함된 상기 자아 투사 이미지 각각에 대응되는 우울감을 점수 방식으로 환산한 후 합산하여, 사용자 답변 총합을 산출하는 단계； 및 "사용자 답변 총합 - (연령-65)* 나이 가중치"의 식에 따라 고령자 주거 우울 지수를 산출 및 통보하는 단계를 포함하는 고령자의 주거 우울 지수 산출 방법을 제공한다.
