The present invention discloses an anion generator. The present invention is characterized by comprising a lower case which has a receiving space part therein and a fixed bracket with a plurality of supports on the bottom side； an upper case which is coupled to the upper portion of the lower case, has the open upper side, and comprises an LED display window at the front side and a damper plate inside the rear side； and an anion generation unit which is placed inside the upper portion of the upper case and simultaneously and selectively protrudes to the upper outside of the upper case by a push button and irradiates with anions. The anion generator quickly purifies indoor air by generating air volume through an electric field generated between discharge electrodes of a lead-in wire and coil-shaped electrodes formed at the inner circumference of a cap and rapidly irradiating indoor by anions. Also, the anion generator reduces unit cost without a separate fan motor and lets consumers determine defects of the device by themselves according to the presence of wind. Besides, the anion generator has advertising effects by having an LED advertisement panel on the front side of the cover, thereby satisfying a user on a product. Especially, the anion generator is able to improve interior effects by preventing degradation of appearance because the inside is exposed to the outside in use.
