The present invention relates to a light emitting device for fishing used to sense a fish body during fishing at night and a method for manufacturing the same. The light emitting device for fishing comprises: a tube body in the shape of a hollow tube with open upper and lower sides a light emitting diode having a lens unit which is inserted in an upper portion of the inside of the tube body and has a semiconductor chip embedded therein, a first lead which is formed to protrude from the lower side of the lens unit and comes in contact with the negative electrode terminal of a pin-type battery inserted in the lower portion of the inside of the tube body, and a second lead which is formed to protrude from the lower side of the lens unit and comes in contact with a positive electrode terminal of the pin-type battery a sealant which is filled in an upper end portion of the inside of the tube body and a lead cover which has a vertically punched insertion hole and is inserted into the tube body to cover the first lead of the light emitting diode.
