PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional water generator that electrolyzes raw water passing through an ion exchange resin, and can discriminate whether or not ion exchange capacity of the ion exchange resin is deactivated.SOLUTION: A functional water generator comprises an ion exchange tank including an ion exchange resin, and an electrolysis part that electrolyzes raw water passing through the ion exchange tank using an anode and a cathode to generate functional water.
