PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation generating apparatus, when connection failure occurs, stopping power supply from a battery.SOLUTION: The radiation generating apparatus includes: a power receiving unit 301 capable of removably connecting a battery 200 for supplying power to a radiation tube a connection state detection unit for detecting a connection state of the battery 200 connected to the power receiving unit 301 and a power supply control unit 400 for controlling the power supply from the battery 200 to the radiation tube.
