The present invention(s) relates to a methodology and supportingmechanisms to facilitate a flat bottom or near flat bottom (minimal center ofmass and orcenter of gravity) storage hopper that can be used to feed a throw conveyor.The throwconveyor needs to be positioned under the storage hoppers discharge (verticalandhorizontal motion). The invention describes several possible solutions toachieve thesegoals through the use of a height adjustable pivoting platform, throw conveyorturret andpivot arm. All of these components need to be rigid in design and worktogether as asystem to ultimately facilitate the transportation (motion) of a throwconveyor from thestowed position( typically along the side of the storage hopper off center) tothe workingposition (on the storage hopper centerline below the storage hopperdischarge).
