PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image treatment apparatus capable of reducing the image data amount even in a radiation image having no region outside the irradiation field.SOLUTION: In the apparatus, a control section 51 of an imaging console 5 analyzes the medical image to decide the image region which is a partial region of an irradiation field region of a medical image and includes a diagnosis target part, as an image region to be segmented from the medical image.
