A compositon for exterminating an animal parasite comprising as an active ingredient at least one amide derivative represented by the following Formula (1) has an excellent activity exterminating an animal parasite: In the following Formula (1), X 1 represents a fluorine atom； X 2 , X 3 , and X 4 are each a hydrogen atom； R 1 represents a hydrogen atom or a C1-C3 alkyl group； R 2 is a hydrogen atom； Y 1 and Y 5 each independently represent a halogen atom or a C1-C3 haloalkyl group； Y 2 and Y 4 each represent a hydrogen atom； and Y 3 represents a heptafluoroisopropyl group.
