Disclosed is an anti-allergic agent which includes polysaccharides having galactose, glucose, and rhamnose as constituents, or includes microorganisms which belong to the genus and which generate polysaccharides outside the bacterial cell. The disclosed anti-allergic agent can be used in compositions for oral administration and compositions for external application, and is suitable for use in products such as food products, pharmaceutical products, and cosmetics.
