The invention relates to a rod meant to fix the fractures of the lower end of the humerus, especially those with epiphyseal separation such as the transcondylar fractures. According to the invention, the rod comprises two components (A and B) of which the first component (A) is a rod having a threaded extremity (1) continuing with a tapered portion (2) extended with a smooth cylindrical segment (3) ending with a threaded and self-threading extremity (4), the threaded extremity (1) having two oblique channels (a and b), with oval cross-section longitudinally confined by a left-hand thread, and also with four grooves (c, d, e and f), the second component (B) being a left-hand screw which penetrates and is fixed by threading in the longitudinal channel (b).Invenţia se referă la o tijă destinată fixării fracturilor de paletă humerală, în special cu separare epifizară, cum ar fi fracturile transcondiliene. Tija conform invenţiei este constituită din două componente (A şi B), dintre care prima componentă (A) este o tijă având o extremitate (1) filetată continuată cu o porţiune (2) tronconică, prelungită cu un segment (3) cilindric, neted, terminat cu o extremitate (4) filetată şi autotarodantă, extremitatea (1) filetată având două canale (a şi b) oblice, cu secţiune ovalară şi longitudinal delimitată de un filet stânga, precum şi cu patru caneluri (c, d, e şi f), a doua componentă (B) fiind un şurub stânga, ce pătrunde şi se fixează prin înfiletare în canalul (b) longitudinal.
