A siderail assembly, comprising: a siderail (24) having a siderail body (32) and a grip portion (42), the grip portion (42) including a grip (46) and a grip opening (48) located between the grip (46) and the siderail body (32) anda removable module (58) configured to removably couple with the siderail (24) between the grip portion (40) and the siderail body (32), the removable module (58) including a housing (60) with an opening (62) therein that defines a storage area, the storage area including a bottom surface and at least one side, the storage area being configured to receive and removably retain an object therewithin.
