PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant cultivation device supplying water in an ideal condition through making maintenance management of a watering pipe simple, easy and efficient and simply and easily solving an overcrowded condition with roots at a low cost. SOLUTION: This plant cultivation device has a fiber mat layer 1 made of three-dimensionally aggregated fibers containing synthetic fiber, a watering pipe 2 with innumerable water-supply holes 2A, laid on the fiber mat layer 1 at prescribed intervals and a plant cultivation layer 3 laid between the water pipe 2 and on the fiber mat layer 1 and having water retention and drainage property and innumerable voids to grow roots of plants. In the plant cultivation device, the watering pipe 2 is laid on the fiber mat layer 1 to be detachable from the layer, and also the plant cultivation layer 3 is laid on the fiber mat layer 1 to be detachable therefrom. Furthermore, the watering pipe 2 and the plant cultivation layer 3 can be exchanged through detaching the plant cultivation layer 3 and the watering pipe 2 from the fiber mat layer 1.
