Provided is an endoscope which can easily attach and remove the base end of a wire to a raising mechanism, reduces the impact of variations in the length of a flexible portion and the length of an operating wire, and can adjust the operating range of a raising base of a raising lever. This endoscope includes: an operating part that has an operating member; an insertion part that is provided on a distal end of the operating part and is inserted into a subject; a treatment tool raising base that is provided on a distal end of the insertion part; a rotating body that is exposedly disposed outside the operating part and moves in tandem with the operation of the operating member; a movable member that is removably connected to the rotating body; a position adjusting member that is capable of adjusting the connecting position, vis-à-vis the direction of rotation of the rotating body, to the movable member; a raising wire that has the distal end connected to the treatment tool raising base and the base end connected to the movable member and moves the treatment tool raising base by being pushed/pulled in response to the movement of the movable member; and an attaching member that is provided on the base end of the raising wire and removably engages with the movable member.L'invention concerne un endoscope qui peut facilement fixer l'extrémité de base d'un fil à un mécanisme de levage et l'en retirer, réduit l'impact des variations de la longueur d'une partie flexible et de la longueur d'un fil d'actionnement, et peut régler la plage d'actionnement d'une base d'élévation d'un levier de levage.
