PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body fat reducing agent and body fat reducing food which have an excellent body fat reducing effect.SOLUTION: The body fat reducing agent comprises cacao polyphenol and catechin at a specified mass ratio. Further, the body fat reducing food comprises cacao polyphenol and catechin at a specified mass ratio. The body fat reducing food is preferably chocolate blended with catechin.
