PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image diagnostic apparatus which easily displays a medical image that is optimal for reading on a stereoscopic image monitor, a medical image processing apparatus, and a method.SOLUTION: In the medical image diagnostic apparatus of an embodiment, a receiving unit receives input of conditions relating to an area to be photographed and the disposition of the area. An extracting unit extracts a region of interest for each subject by analyzing medical image data photographed on the basis of the conditions received by the receiving unit.
