PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid splashing water onto objects to be washed when water is supplied to a reservoir before draining waste water from a hot water sterilization process, in order to prevent a water draining system from deterioration by the heat of hot water.SOLUTION: A washing device 10 includes a washing tank 20 to accommodate medical instruments above a water reservoir 21 to store washing water at the bottom, a washing water supply means 28 for supplying water from its source to the reservoir 21 as a part of the washing water through a supply port 20a formed on the inner circumferential wall of the washing tank 20, a hot water supply means 40 for supplying hot water to the reservoir 21, washing nozzles 24, 25 to jet the washing water from the reservoir 21 to medical instruments, a washing pump 27 to send the washing water of the reservoir 21 to the washing nozzles 24, 25, and a drainage pipe 34 provided near a drainage pump 35 as a means for draining the washing water.
