Eine Vorrichtung zum Bereitstellen und zum Einbringen eines Transplantats (8) oder eines Implantats in den lebenden Körper, insbesondere für opthalmologische Eingriffe, und insbesondere zur Durchführung einer DMEK-Operation, weist eine Kartusche (1) oder eine Hülse mit zwei gegenüberliegenden, endseitigen Öffnungen (2, 3) auf, wobei die erste Öffnung (2) einen größeren Durchmesser aufweist als die zweite Öffnung (3). Die erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung eignet sich sowohl für das schonende Bereitstellen als auch das exakte Einbringen eines Transplantats (8) oder eines Implantats in den lebenden Körper.
