PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gait analysis system and a gait analysis method allowing grasping of motions of joints of legs and more detailed evaluation of a walking state without limiting a measuring place.SOLUTION: Respective measuring sensors S1-S7 are attached to sandwich the hip joints, knee joints and leg joints of both legs of a walker 1, and an angular velocity and an acceleration in walking of the walker are measured to output measurement data. A gait analysis unit 12 receives the measurement data output from the measuring sensors S1-S7, determines the joint angles of the hip joints, knee joints and leg joints of the walker 1 based on the received measurement data, and also determines other gait information.
