PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact type sanitary tampon with an applicator which has improved absorption efficiency without increasing rigidity, and prevents leakage along the inside of the applicator and provides an improved sense of use.

SOLUTION: The compact type sanitary tampon 10 with the applicator comprises a sanitary tampon 1 with an absorption member 2 composed of a large diameter absorption member 21 and a small diameter absorption member 22, and the applicator 4 provided with a hollow outer cylinder 41, a hollow first inner cylinder 42 and a second inner cylinder 43 included in the first inner cylinder 42 further. The large diameter absorption member 21 is housed on the inner side of the outer cylinder 41 and the small diameter absorption member 22 is housed on the inner side of the second inner cylinder 43 housed in the first inner cylinder 42. An ejection cord 3 is extended from the inside of the second inner cylinder 43 to the outside of the applicator 4.
