The invention is directed to a method for preparing coated seed, to a coated seed obtainable by said method, and to the use of a wax in a seed coating composition. The method for preparing coated seed comprises - applying a seed coating composition to seed； and, - directly thereafter contacting said coated seed with a powder formulation, wherein said powder formulation comprises a wax, wherein said coating composition comprises 0.5-50 % by weight of the coating composition of a component that provides tackiness such that the resulting coated seed is more tacky than a coated seed obtained with the same coating composition lacking the component that provides tackiness.La présente invention concerne un procédé de préparation de semence enrobée, une semence enrobée obtenue par ledit procédé, et l'utilisation d'une cire dans une formulation en poudre pour réduire l'adhérence de la semence enrobée.
