PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anesthetic tank and an anesthetic false injection prevention system in which leakage of volatile anesthetic due to looseness of an injection adapter is prevented without the use of leakage preventive measures against seal components, and change components in multiple types of anesthetic tank are simplified.SOLUTION: An anesthetic tank 7 includes an insertion port 71 with an injection adapter of an anesthetic container inserted therein, and a receiving part 72 in communication with the insertion port 71. The volatile anesthetic in the anesthetic container is injected into the receiving part 72. An identification member 33 capable of being freely turned in the central axis circumference of the insertion port 71 is arranged in the outside of the insertion port 71. A key groove for identifying the type of the volatile anesthetic in connection with a key provided at the injection adapter is provided in an inner face of an insertion hole 33h where the injection adapter of the identification member 33 can be inserted.
