PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an angioplasty balloon catheter with an embolic filter.SOLUTION: A percutaneous transluminal angioplasty device 10 includes an embolic filter 20 mounted to the catheter shaft 14 at a location distal to the angioplasty balloon 18. Thus the filter 20 can be downstream from the blockage and can be properly positioned to capture embolic particles that may be set loose into the blood stream so that the angioplasty procedure can be performed. The embolic filter 20 can normally be un-deployed against the catheter shaft 14 to facilitate introduction and withdrawal of the device 10 to and from the operative site. Once the angioplasty balloon 18 can be properly positioned, however, means operatively associated with the embolic filter 20 can be actuated to deploy the filter 20 to position a filter mesh 28 across the lumen of the vessel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】塞栓フィルタ付き血管形成バルーンカテーテルを提供する。【解決手段】経皮経管的血管形成装置10が、血管形成バルーン18よりも遠位の位置でカテーテルシャフト14に取り付けられた塞栓フィルタ20を含む。これによりフィルタ20は、閉塞部から下流に存在させることができ、かつ、血管形成処置を実施することができるように血流へ放出することができる塞栓粒子を捕獲するために適切に配置することができる。塞栓フィルタ20は、装置10の手術部位への導入及び手術部位からの引き抜きを容易にするべくカテーテルシャフト14に対して通常非展開とすることができる。しかし、いったん血管形成バルーン18を適切に配置することができると、塞栓フィルタ20と操作的に関連する手段を作動させることで、当該フィルタ20を起立させて血管の管腔の全体にフィルタメッシュ28を配置することができる。【選択図】図1
