PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of preventing a wearer from feeling uncomfortable due to a wet absorber while utilizing the whole absorber and improving absorption capacity of an excreted liquid.SOLUTION: A pair of liquid diffusion sheets 13, 14 is disposed in such a way that one liquid diffusion sheet 13 is disposed along one end side of a shorter direction of an absorber 4 and the other liquid diffusion sheet 14 is disposed along the other end side of the shorter direction of the absorber 4 in a state that the liquid diffusion sheets 13, 14 are separated from each other. In a pair of leakage prevention walls 16, 17, a length in a direction along with a longer direction of the absorber 4 is formed so as to be longer than the longer direction of the absorber 4.
