PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing, with low energy, a salt from a low salinity concentration aqueous solution having a salinity concentration below seawater level, or for desalinating a low salinity concentration aqueous solution.SOLUTION: The method includes adding and mixing an amphiphilic liquid belonging to ketone or tertiary alcohol represented by acetone or tert-butyl alcohol so as it to be in excess amount into a low salinity concentration aqueous solution having a salinity concentration below seawater level, and then, because of precipitation as crystals of salt, solid/liquid separating the same and de-watering the solid (crystals of salt) and taking out as salt, and as for the liquid, separating into an amphiphilic liquid and a fresh water by using, for example, a zeolite membrane and extracting the fresh water, and thus can produce, with low energy, a salt from a low salinity concentration aqueous solution, including a seawater, as well as can produce a fresh water.COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】塩分濃度が海水レベル以下の低塩分濃度水溶液から低エネルギで製塩したり、低塩分濃度水溶液を淡水化する。【解決手段】塩分濃度が海水レベル以下の低塩分濃度水溶液にアセトンやtert-ブチルアルコールに代表されるケトンや三級アルコールに属する両親媒性液体を過剰量となるように混和する。すると、塩の結晶として析出するため、固液分離して固形分(塩の結晶)は乾燥させて塩として取り出し、液体については、例えばゼオライト膜を用いて両親媒性液体と淡水とに分離し、淡水を取り出す。海水をはじめとする低塩分濃度水溶液から、低エネルギで製塩することができると共に淡水を製造することができる。【選択図】図1
