SOLUTION: A finger skeleton 12 is bent or extended by a first actuator 71, and powder is loaded in bags 52-55 covering the finger skeleton 12. The inside of the bags 52-55 is evacuated and solidified by a second actuator 73 after bending the finger skeleton 12. Accordingly and the finger skeleton 12 is bent to make the prosthetic finger abut to the surface of the article while the bags 52-55 are not solidified and the bags 52-55 are solidified after adjusting the shapes of the flexible bags 52-55 along the shape of the article and so that the article can be securely gripped without requiring specially strong gripping POWER. In addition, if the first actuator 71 can bend and extend the finger skeleton, complicated control such as the control of the gripping POWER and bending amount of the prosthetic finger by using a sensor and etc., is not necessary and the second actuator 72 which can evacuate the inside of the bags 52-55 is sufficient. As a result and the prosthetic finger device can be provided at an extremely low price.
